Hello I'm Asia Jackowska.
From January 2017 I'm working as a front-end developer at Response Concepts in Amsterdam. Before I've worked at Remember To Play as graphic designer with many IT and digital media clients. I enjoy designing, but my passion and background is in animation. In my spare time, I started experimenting more with animations, gif, svg, etc. The more I experimented, the more I became interested in learning more about web specifications and building interactive prototypes.

To learn more, I enrolled in a web development course with the New York Code + Design Academy in Amsterdam. With this course, as well as research and practical learning through CodeAcademy and FreeCodeCamp, I have added more advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript to my skills. My experience at Remember to Play and as freelance designer have helped me become a better designer. I have learned to work better and closer with clients to create their vision.

Learning new technical skills alongside my design experience has inspired me to move back towards my passion for animation. I have started to learn and experiment more with animation through coding with Processing and P5.js. I believe that with my experience and the skills I am learning I will be a big benefit to a career in web development. I am eager to create new, innovative, interactive designs as a future front end developer.
